The County of Lennox & Addington Public Libraries’ 4th Annual Author Gala will feature bestselling author Vicki Delany. The event will take place on Saturday, October 28th at 2pm at the County Museum & Archives, located at 97 Thomas Street East in Napanee.
The Author Gala will cap off the Library’s “One Book, One L&A” community reads program, in which all members of our community have been urged to “get on the same page” by reading Delany’s novel Elementary, She Read. This is the first book in her popular new Sherlock Holmes Bookshop series, a cozy mystery series inspired by Arthur Conan Doyle.
Vicki Delany is a prolific Canadian mystery novelist who writes under more than one pen name. She is the author of the Constable Molly Smith mystery series, set in the fictional British Columbia town of Trafalgar (a thinly disguised Nelson, BC), and the Klondike Mystery series, set in Dawson City, Yukon during the Gold Rush of 1898. She also writes psychological suspense novels and – on the other end of the spectrum – cozy mysteries. For more information about Vicki Delany, visit www.VickiDelany.com.
Tickets for the Author Gala are on sale now and are available for purchase at all six library branches and online at www.CountyLibrary.ca. Admission is $10 per person and includes refreshments.
