This 1840 United Empire Loyalist home is a federally registered museum which is furnished with practical and decorative items pertaining to the history of Cornwall and area.
Rotating displays and knowledgeable tour guides keep the tours fresh and engaging. They share interesting stories as they recount the history of the founding of Upper Canada/Ontario.
A climate controlled two-storey section of the facility houses some 25, 000 artefacts. Tours include your choice of the Museum, the Archives or both. Books, photographs and photocopies are available for purchase. We are located in the historic Wood House in the waterfront park.
