The Kingston Flying Club received its initial charter in 1929 becoming one of the founding and longest standing members of the Royal Canadian Flying Club Association. The Club is certified as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005, and is able to conduct training for a wide variety of licenses and ratings, including Recreational Pilot Permit, Private Pilot Licence, Commercial Pilot Licence, as well as Night, Instrument and Multi-engine Ratings. The Kingston Flying Club offers an introductory flight package. This includes a pre-flight briefing, preparing the aircraft for flight, 30 exhilarating minutes in the air, then a de-brief on the ground to answer any questions you may have. You will realize that learning how to fly isn’t as hard as you might have thought it to be.
The Kingston Flying Club also provides amazing sight-seeing tours! Come out and take a flight over the city to see local landmarks like Fort Henry, RMC, local shipwrecks, and more, all from the air! Scenic flights over the Thousand Islands are also available, providing a unique view of the Thousand Islands from the air. Can you count all one-thousand?
So whether you are looking to start a career in aviation, or just want to start a new hobby, the Kingston Flying Club provides a professional, yet relaxing environment and can work with you, at your own pace.
