With more than 40 wineries all offering niche wines and experiences, wine tours are a unique way to discover the true essence of Prince Edward County. The County’s pioneering winemakers are serious about wine, but the tasting experience here is also surprisingly relaxed. Taste is brewing in South Eastern Ontario

Cider brewing companies are another hip part of the brewing scene in South Eastern Ontario. Clafeld Cider, Apple Falls Cider, 401 Cider, Hard Way Cider Co., Empire Cider and the County Cider Company and more are brewing up delicious with a focus on using local ingredients like honey, and locally-grown apples.

Did you know that aside from wine, beer and cider, spirits are also made here? That’s right – gin, vodka and whiskey are crafted just down the road at Kinsip House of Fine Spirits in Prince Edward County while organic spirits are made along the St. Lawrence River in the 1,000 Islands at King’s Lock Craft Distillery.
